What
is the Work Program Conference?
The Work Program Conference was once an
annual fixture on the East District Calendar. This
one day
conference
is being revived this year with two purposes in
mind:
-
To celebrate the 125th Anniversary
of the East District with a special worship service
-
To bring pastoral and lay
delegates together to discuss and enact the 2005 Mission &
Ministry Program
Congregational
Followup
All appointed delegates are responsible
for presenting the 2005 Mission & Ministry Program to their
congregations to adopt the suggested Mission Goals derived during
the Work Program Conference.

Who
should attend?
Every congregation in the East District
should send:
-
one pastoral delegate
-
one lay delegate
The 2003 District Convention delegate
or alternate, appointed for a 3-year term, is the obvious choice for
congregational delegate.
Who
pays?
After the conference, an assessment per
communicant will be made to cover all conference expenses.
